It is the time of year where Football is in a preparation stage.
High Schools have just finished the school year and players are actively engaged in 7 on 7 leagues and going to camp after camp.
Colleges have just enrolled their new and excited freshman and are busy orienting them to the way they will do everything come the first of August.
The NFL has just wrapped up mini camps and OTA's and is taking a break till about July 24th.
All levels of the game are preparing for an exciting fall. In preparing, players are learning new techniques and coaches are perfecting new and exciting schemes.
Preparation is the hard work that goes into any endeavor, that generally goes unrecognized. Fans do not care how hard one works, they just want results on game day. Everyone wants to win on game day. The crowd is cheering. the lights are bright, the cheerleaders are present and there is excitement air. Winning comes well before that. Winning is the sweat and grind of working out in 90 degree heat when everyone else is at the beach. Winning only comes with hard work.
A great quote from the late Mohammed Ali
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.
And always remember:
Luck is where preparation meets opportunity.
To win it all one must be both lucky and good, thus one must be prepared to be lucky!
Work hard in anticipation of a great fall.
